Overview

Organizations let a group own projects instead of tying important work to a single user account. Organizations can have members, roles, storage controls, and organization-owned projects. Paid individual tiers can unlock organization creation in self-serve deployments. Team-managed and enterprise deployments may create or assign organizations through team or administrator workflows instead.

How To Get There

Organization creation and management are available from the Davinci Browser when your account and deployment allow it. Typical flow:
  1. Open the Davinci Browser.
  2. Open the organization area or upgrade flow.
  3. Create an organization with a name and slug.
  4. Configure members, roles, storage, and project ownership.
If you do not see organization creation controls, your plan, team, or deployment may not allow self-service organization creation.

What Organizations Unlock

Organizations can help you:
  • Own projects as a group.
  • Keep ownership stable when people change roles.
  • Manage organization members and roles.
  • Centralize storage and project administration.
  • Prepare for organization-scoped automation and API governance as those features are released.

Billing And Storage

Organization billing depends on how the organization is created and whether it belongs to a team. Some organizations are paid directly; others are managed by team billing or enterprise controls. See Organizations for the management model and Usage, Plans, And Billing for usage concepts.
