Widgets are movable Editor tools that can live in either the Left Panel or Right Panel. Moving a widget changes its location without changing its features or keyboard shortcut.

Available widgets

  • Model — browse the Library and model object tree.
  • Skills & Rules — organize reusable instructions for Davinci.
  • Davinci Agent — chat with the design agent for the active workspace.
  • Source Control — manage branches, changes, commits, and merge conflicts.
  • Search — search names, fields, relationships, documentation, and tags.
  • Comments — review mentions and comments across the project.
  • Validation — find errors, TBDs, conflicts, and other model issues.
  • Terminal — access local project commands when the Local File Bridge is connected.

Moving and ordering widgets

Drag a widget from one panel’s navigation area into the other panel’s navigation or content area. Dropping a widget moves it and activates it immediately. Right-click a widget for additional actions:
  • Open or focus the widget.
  • Move it to another panel.
  • Move it to the beginning or end of its current panel.
  • Hide it.
  • Restore its default location.
  • Reset the complete panel layout.

Managing visibility

Right-click blank space in the Left Panel’s widget rail or the Right Panel’s tab header to open the panel’s widget checklist.
  • A check means the widget is visible in that panel.
  • A minus means it is visible in another panel.
  • An empty checkbox means it is hidden.
Hidden widgets remain available through these checklists. Panel layout and hidden state are saved with your user settings.
Project Settings and Scratchpad are utility launchers rather than movable widgets.
