Overview

The Administration panel provides operational tools for investigation, maintenance, public content, and user communication:
  • Audit Log records administrative and security-relevant activity.
  • Server shows Design Engine and active-project state.
  • Explore curates featured public projects.
  • Notifications manages banners, broadcasts, and email campaigns.
These pages contain deployment and user information that should not be copied into public reports without review.

Audit Log

Use Administration → Audit Log to investigate who performed an action, when it happened, and which resource was affected.

Search And Filter

Filter by:
  • User ID.
  • Action.
  • Start time.
  • End time.
  • The selected Tenant Context.
Results can be sorted and show timestamp, action, actor, resource, IP address, and a details preview. Select a row to inspect the complete structured entry. Depending on the event, details can include tenant, project, resource, user agent, agent task or tool, and approval information.
Audit entries can contain identifiers, IP addresses, user agents, and operational metadata. Redact unrelated data before sharing an entry outside the authorized support or security team.

When To Review Audit History

Review the log after:
  • User provisioning, deactivation, deletion, or authentication recovery.
  • System- or tenant-role changes.
  • Project restoration, permanent deletion, or ownership changes.
  • Billing adjustments or reconciliation fixes.
  • Banners, broadcasts, and marketing email.
  • Connection shutdown or project closure.
  • Authentication, feature, or LLM configuration changes.
For usage charges and model-call evidence, use Metering Events.

Server

Use Administration → Server to monitor routing and Design Engine state.

Status

The page summarizes:
  • Deployment license validity.
  • Registered Design Engine count.
  • Whether new project loads are enabled.
  • Active-license usage where applicable.
The Design Engines table shows health, project count, heap and resident memory, load average, uptime, and registered URL. The Active Projects table shows project, branch, connected users, serving engine, and last activity. Use Refresh for an immediate update or enable the remembered 15-second auto-refresh while actively monitoring an incident or maintenance operation.

Disable Connections

Disable Connections temporarily prevents new project connections. Existing sessions remain active. The current panel requests a five-minute block; select Enable Connections to lift it early. Use this before short maintenance when existing sessions do not need to be interrupted.

Enable Connections

Enable Connections allows new project connections again. Confirm service health before reopening access.

Close All Projects

Close All Projects:
  1. Prevents new project loads temporarily.
  2. Force-closes all active project sessions.
  3. Disconnects connected users immediately.
Close All Projects is a platform-wide disruption. Announce the maintenance window, confirm the environment, and monitor reconnection after service is restored.

Explore Feed

Use Administration → Explore to choose and order projects featured on the public Explore page. Only public projects are available to pin.

Feature A Project

  1. Search available public projects by project or owner.
  2. Select Pin.
  3. Confirm it appears in Featured Projects.
  4. Use the up and down controls to set its order.
Select Unpin to remove a project from the featured list. Unpinning does not change project visibility or delete the project.
Featuring a project increases its visibility but is not a privacy control. Review the project’s content, files, history, owner, and public-access settings before pinning it.

Notifications

Use Administration → Notifications for deployment-level communication.

Site Banner

A site banner is shown to visitors until it expires, is dismissed, or is cleared. Configure:
  • Message.
  • Category: announcement, maintenance, warning, critical, or marketing.
  • Optional end time.
Banner text supports limited emphasis, underline, and HTTPS links. Select Set Banner, then Preview the active banner. Clear Banner removes it immediately. Use a banner for current service status or information that should remain visible while users navigate. Do not include secrets, internal hostnames, or incident details that are not approved for all visitors.

Broadcast Alert

A broadcast creates an administrative notification for all active users or for the specified tenant. Configure:
  • Title and message.
  • Info, warning, or critical severity.
  • Optional tenant target.
  • Optional action link.
Leaving the tenant blank targets all active users across the deployment. Verify the tenant identifier before sending a scoped broadcast.

Official Email

Enabling Official email sends the broadcast as mandatory email to active users with email addresses in the selected audience. It is not subject to ordinary unsubscribe preferences. Use official email only for required communications such as legal notices, terms changes, or essential account and service notices.
The official-email confirmation initiates delivery; there is no recall workflow. Obtain content and audience approval before sending.

Marketing Email

Marketing email supports:
  • Subject.
  • Markdown body and preview.
  • Optional plain-text fallback.
  • Optional tenant target.
If the plain-text body is empty, Davinci uses the Markdown source as the fallback. Sending queues one email notification for each active user with an email address in the selected audience. Marketing email respects the recipient’s marketing-email preference and includes the standard preference-management link. Keep the business mailing address current and follow applicable consent requirements.

Communication Checklist

Before setting a banner or sending a message:
  1. Confirm the environment and tenant audience.
  2. Remove internal-only or personal information.
  3. Validate every action link.
  4. Preview formatted content.
  5. Obtain approval for mandatory or deployment-wide communication.
  6. Send to the smallest appropriate audience.
  7. Confirm the recipient count and review the Audit Log.

Maintenance Checklist

  1. Announce the maintenance window.
  2. Inspect current Design Engines, projects, and connected users.
  3. Disable new connections if existing sessions can continue.
  4. Use Close All Projects only when active sessions must end.
  5. Perform the maintenance and verify service health.
  6. Enable connections.
  7. Monitor active projects and audit history for recovery.
