## Version 4.5.3 - Directory Sign-In & Account Linking

This release adds directory-based sign-in for supported self-hosted deployments, with account linking and broader authentication and export security improvements.

### Directory Sign-In

* Added directory (LDAP) as a sign-in option alongside password, OAuth, and SSO
* Added an email-first sign-in flow that directs users to the appropriate method for their account and configured email domain
* Added a dedicated directory sign-in form that accepts a username or email address
* Added support for eligible new directory users to create a Davinci account on their first successful sign-in
* Added directory sign-in support for deployments that otherwise require SSO

### Account Settings

* Added a **Sign-in** settings section showing the methods connected to an account
* Added self-service directory account linking for signed-in users
* Added current-password confirmation before linking when the account has a Davinci password
* Added clear linked and not-linked status indicators
* Improved guidance explaining how directory linking changes future sign-in behavior

### Security & Reliability

* Strengthened authentication token validation and account-linking safeguards
* Prevented existing accounts from being linked automatically during sign-in
* Added additional protections for directory credentials, search filters, secure connections, and group access
* Removed saved project secrets from exported project downloads
* Fixed unitful equation references so exponent operations apply to the complete quantity
* Improved directory sign-in reliability
